Legit bucket list item here. I consider it such a huge honor to have been able to spend the last few months on tour with Willie Nelson, a true music icon and one of the kindest people I’ve ever encountered. A huge thanks goes out to him, his band, and all of his staff that make it all work with such dedication and humility. It’s a tour I won’t soon forget. Tommy sat me down to play Trigger, here on the last day of the tour, and I had no idea what to play. “A Horse Called Music” was resonating through the PA, so I just played along. Seemed fitting.
Our bus driver, Les, a true king. He’s frying up wings, fries, bread cheese, veggies, and tempeh (which smells like hippies, according to him). Celebrating Easter (and other more unofficial national holidays) the right way.
